Production ceases during the year. 1964 American model introduced with longer swinging arm, separate speedometer and tachometer in alloy fascia, 2-gallon fuel tank, separate exhausts and 12-volt lighting. British model continues with twin monoblocs, casquette, and siamesed pipes. 1966 Interceptor MkI production comes to an end. 1967 Interceptor MkIA produced by Enfield Precision Engineers, Bradford-on-Avon. Twin concentric carbs, coil ignition, improved breathing and street scrambler styling. 1968 Interceptor MkII. Redesigned wet sump engine with points in timing cover with Norton forks and front brake. 1970 Production comes to an end.
